RADIO FREQUENCY
Our typical customers comprise wireless operators or product owners seeking to enhance or broaden their product portfolio. Additionally, tracking service providers, catering to human, pet, or asset tracking, constitute another segment that utilizes Sasken services to introduce new products and services into their portfolios. Moreover, customers aiming to integrate wireless connectivity options into their current wired product portfolios also form part of our clientele.
Offering Overview
RF design focuses on high-frequency analog electronics positioned at the interface between digital signaling and wireless transmission. Challenges in RF design typically revolve around power efficiency and interference management, as well as addressing noise and handling extremely low signal levels.
Where is this offering applied?
RF design occurs at the beginning of the product design process and remains invisible to end users. It starts with system design and the selection of components to fulfill the chosen wireless system's requirements. A crucial phase following component selection involves matching all selected components together on the final product level while maintaining interoperability with other parts of the system.
Addressing customer needs
Typically, the goal is to integrate the customer's wireless systems into digital platforms, refining initial designs into final products. Common RF design challenges include interference and immunity issues. Sasken assists by analyzing designs, identifying improvements, and proposing tailored modifications to meet customer needs.
