Sasken created a multi-camera driver assistance system for a car company.
The customer needed an initial prototype for a multi-camera system which would feature a forward-facing camera for driving assistance and a rear-facing camera for driver monitoring. The goal was to design a concept that would be as compact as possible while having good image processing capabilities and memory capacity. The concept also required high-quality image sensors to capture all information from traffic, such as road signs.
