The customer required the development of an efficient and compact RF-Block suitable for various mobile platforms within the Zuken environment. They sought two parallel designs with minor discrepancies.

The customer provided a preliminary RF-block component placement created in PowerPoint and sought assistance in transitioning it to the Zuken environment. They required the development of a new component library tailored to their needs.

The customer was transitioning from Mentor to Zuken as their layout tool and required support in setting up component libraries and the Zuken environment to facilitate the development of their own system.

Sasken developed a fresh component library for Zuken, integrating a new System Designer schematic alongside the older Mentor schematic and a new Board Designer layout. The layout presented significant complexity, featuring numerous isolations, impedance-controlled lines, prototype components, and a lack of accurate data for the components.

Additionally, the limited space available for routing posed considerable challenges.

The customer received two distinct RF-Block layouts that they can utilize across various mobile platforms. Additionally, they acquired Zuken environment settings and a new component library.
