Our customer needed production testers for their satellite terminal product family's mass production at their contract manufacturer. Sasken developed these testers to facilitate the customer's transition into mass production.

The customer lacked the necessary design capability to manage the production tester for the satellite product family. 

Sasken developed production testers for both board-level and final assembled product testing to support prototype testing during the R&D phase. We worked with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on modular tester software for test automation, leveraging our in-house developed tester software platform refined over the past two decades. 

Additionally, we utilized commercial off-the-shelf test equipment alongside shielded enclosures and custom-designed product-specific jigs and controller boards for comprehensive test automation. Our delivery encompassed board-level testers and final assembled product testers for four distinct products: mobile satellite terminals, handsets, vehicular terminals, and active array antennas. Our turnkey delivery included delivery, installation, commission testing, training, and ongoing maintenance support. 

The customer received a comprehensive solution for production tester development, test automation, database management, and automated report generation—all from the same provider. The customer got board-level testers and final assembled product testers for all their products, streamlined with harmonized components for service items. 

Additionally, the customer benefited from a user-friendly operator interface and standardized test report templates, facilitating seamless operation and result analysis.
