Harsh Environment RFID Antenna Development
Project introduction:
Sasken helped the customer replace their old RFID antenna product.
Customer need:
The customer needed a new RFID antenna to replace their end-of-life product. The antenna operates in a challenging environment with harsh conditions, making the reading distance and environment demanding.
Sasken’s solution:
Sasken proposed rugged mechanical designs for the antenna. The design was further developed in cooperation with the customer. Sasken produced a series of functional prototypes for field testing the new antenna design.
Benefits for the customer:
The customer received a functional prototype series for approval testing. Additionally, a preliminary production plan was created to manufacture more antennas.
